doubleTwist introduces AirTwist feature

doubleTwist has announced the availability of AirTwist on its popular Android app, the doubleTwist AirSync. The new update lets users to stream in multimedia content to a connected Xbox or PlayStation 3.

Once updated, the doubleTwist app will feature the users’ device on the Xbox or PS3 and, a simple selection of the device would let them to enjoy media on the big screen almost instantaneously. The AirTwist option can stream in photos, music as well as videos. Zendesk develops Help Desk Software for iPad

Zendesk today released a help desk support software for the iPad. Based on Web 2.0 technologies and design ideas, the product acts as an on-demand help desk support for customers on the go.

A minimal design with integration of SaaS to the online customer-facing web presence of a company is impressive. Together, the product show cases online forums,hosted support email-ticket integration, widgets and RSS.The system features tag based categorization instead of the conventional drop down lists, RSS feeds for all customized view and a complete REST/JSON API for almost everything in the product.

Flash Player 10.2 for Windows, Mac, and Linux released

Adobe has released Flash Player 10.2 that works for Windows,Mac and Linux. The new Player comes packed with features and is now available for download. The most impressive of the lot is the new Stage Video architecture that drastically reduces the processor load of playing back high resolution videos.With the feature, Adobe claims that a 1080p playback will not take up more than 15 percent of a CPU cycle.

The additional features in Flash Player 10.2 include the ability to go to true full screen playback in a single click. The multiple display full screen support adds to the multitasking ability. Developers can create their own cursors with the added support for  native mouse cursors that the 10.2 version holds.

To add-on, the new sub-pixel text rendering is a credible update for all complex character-based languages. GPU rendering technology that will be seen in Microsoft’s Internet Explorer 9 is supported as well.
