‘Angry Birds’ is flying into Windows Phone 7

Rovio’s super cool game christened as Angry Birds has been creating huge waves of gaming fever across many mobile platforms since its launch in December 2009. So now the company has come to the rescue of the Windows phone 7 users who have been missing out on this fun with the announcement of making the game available in these phones.

This is a puzzle video game, in which players use a slingshot to launch birds at pigs stationed on or within various structures, with the intent of destroying all the pigs in the playfield. Angry Birds has been received well due to its successful combination of addictive gameplay, comical style and the low price.

Windows Phone 7 to get significant updates soon

The Mobile World Congress saw the release of a number of announcements regarding the Windows Phone platform; significant of which are the upcoming added features and updates the phone will show case.

The copy and paste functionality will be the first update that the Windows Phone7 will receive. Expected to be rolled out this March, there is not much details available about this particular feature. Important among the other updates are Twitter integration to People Hub, Cloud-based Office document sharing and use of Windows Live Skydrive for storage.Multitasking and background application functionality are to be launched in the second quarter of 2011 as from official releases.
